One of my favourite photo uploaded by Uriguri, yea as usual. He was driving to work and had to stop to admire those rays of light coming down from the tall trees. Then he picked his Mamyia 645, mounted it on a tripod, framed the picture and set the selftimer on. He run to the spot in the sun, counting down from 10 to 0 in my mind and... click (yes, it's him in the picture, He thought the picture needed a human element in it). This was taken in the heart of Pinhal de Leiria (Leiria's Pinetree Forest), not far from his hometown. It's a place called Ponte Nova and it's a wonderfull place to take long walks and relax.
This photo won the "Challenge Self-potrait" at webshot. It's very deserving win !
I think it is a realization of a dream. I am not able to differentiate the dream and consciousness in this shot. It just transferred the sense of relaxation and dept of a dream.
Look at the sunburst through the pine trees are amazing, it is that moment in time recorded forever. I can just by looking feel the serenity and tranquility of the place... I can even smell the freshness of the surroundings...
