Resignation Letter 1: Straightforward

Digg this

Resignation is a word that no employees plan to say since the beginning, and employer never expected to hear. But when it is become a “must-done-now” word in your head for good reason, then go for it. Use a straightforward resignation letter. Basically, every resignation letter should be straight forward, there is no necessary to express all your feeling in such official letter. Your objective is only one: giving employer an official notice about your intention to not prolong your stay with the current company.

So, here is a straightforward resignation letter example you can use:

Dear [Recipient’s Name]

As required by my employment contract, I hereby give you [
your notice period] days notice of my intention to leave my position as [your current position]

I wish both you and [
Name of your current employer/company name] every good fortune and I would like to thank you for having me as part of your team.

Yours sincerely,

[
Signature]

[Your name]

Change the following with your own:

[Recipient’s Name]: Name of your boss who authorized for resignation
[Your current position]: Your current job title
[Name of your current employer/company name]: the current company name
[Signature]: Your official signature
[Your name]: Your sure name

Of course you may modify or even uses your very own word, even better, but make sure that will sounds straightforward and no space for doubt ness about your intention for the resignation.
