No matter what educational background you have, no matter what field of business you are working with, no matter what company you are working for, you must had set of basic skill that makes you’re well steady on your current position. Skills that make your daily roles run. That reason also make you’re remains on the same position. Learn and take practices to add these skill sets to make you're more advance.

Teamwork
If you never work as a team, try to participate on project conducted by team. Get involved, learn about:
[-]. How one team’s member interacted to another.
[-]. How to mediates contradictions in within a team.
[-]. How to deal with skeptical team’s member
[-]. How lack ness of a team’s member covered by another.

Time Management
Ask yourself a question: “why am I still here?” it’s likely that you’ve been still there because of you have no time to move. Your workload seems to hold you there forever and never let you do something else. Find out someway how to complete your main role faster, practice more effective time management so that you have time to think, learn and do more or even different roles, or you may like to take night course or seminars after works to make your skill path even more savvy.

Decision Making
If you’re not a decision maker yet, try and take practice to make decision for yourself (i.e.: should I go to supermarket first and then go home OR go home first then go to supermarket after). Or even for something bigger (i.e.: should I purchase my new note book in cash or by credit), try to predict what the result will be, then after it’s done, compare your prediction with the actual result. You may find decision you made is just excellent, or something worst, then you will know how a decision should be taken, a scaleable consideration.

Communication
Any time, any where, any topic, get involved and be communicating. Always remember what and how it said, check how those influence others, what and how long the response out. If tomorrow you’re trying to speak, try to listen by the day after tomorrow. Get know the differences (be a speaker or be a listener). In long run, you will reveal “how if I was on her/his/their shoes)”, what and how an effective communication should be held. If today you said most “yes” word, try “no” word at most of tomorrow’s, if today you speak faster try to speak slower by tomorrow. Learn and analyze what and how responses come out.

Management and Supervisory
If you haven’t been a supervisor nor a manager yet, watch and learn what your manager does, how he/she does it. When you have a chance (i.e.: you supervisor is going to take vacation or will be absent for her/his own reason) offer yourself to be assigned for her/his daily roles during those time. Search any family or non-business event where you will able to participate as un-paid manager or supervisor.

Interpersonal
Interpersonal skill refers to mental and communicative algorithms applied during social communications and interactions in order to reach certain effects or results. The term "interpersonal skills" is used often in business contexts to refer to the measure of a person's ability to operate within business organizations through social communication and interactions. Interpersonal skill is how a person relates to one another (wikipedia). You are able to practice interpersonal training every minute, every hour, every day, at the office at home, on the bus, every time you interact with your colleagues, family and people. Do learn and analyze any responses you get, so that you know how you should build your interpersonal skill.

Leadership
Learn how to influence and lead others, be followed.
