A Set of Hard—broad Check List for 30 days?

Yes, this is a general check list. I believe different industry (read : office) may have different set of checklist. But it should be fallen on to those categories. It will be depend on:

[-]. The Business line
[-]. The Business scale
[-]. The business location (geographical aspect)

In different words, not all list for you to be completed in 30 days. Some of them may not applicable at your office.

If you think these list still sounds impossible for you to complete in 30 days, the only sensible thing to do is to prioritize the requirements into must-haves, should-haves, and could-haves. In other words if the time is fixed, then the requirements or the quality needs to change.

Of course there could still be the problem that there are too many must-haves to fit, and it is still very difficult to persuade the board director that although they might not get all the should-haves and may not get any of the could-haves, it would still be a successful achievement if you could complete most of them. In saying all that however, it is best to try and get as much as possible done.
